Start well. End well.

August 31st, 2009 § 2

Oh wow, has it been a month since I first mentioned this (not that anyone is keeping track, I am sure)?

At last, I’m happy to report that it is finally finished. I present the interactive calendar board:

calendar_prev

(I took inspiration from this, which I wish for + want, among other things, but certainly can’t + won’t spend that much on!)

The numbers needed to be fixed because of some major glitch and the whole thing was in serious danger of falling through in mid-production. Yes, I do have a history of starting things and then leaving them unfinished under a blanket of guilt. Nasty!

Well, it’s been bothering me like a relentless headache. And I am now so, so glad it is done. Those weather icons – my very favourite part – are pretty much perfect for the project and what’s more, they are available to download for free.

Start well. End well. Good advice.

I am! It looks cool! So the changeable stuff are stuck on by velcro?

      hi Catherine,
I didn’t want to use velcro cos of the bulk so I brushed on a tacky glue to the backs of the moveable bits. It’s not working as well as I had hoped but it will do. I’m thinking now that the velcro might have been a better option to go with.
