I've been thinking a lot about scrapbooking but it's been almost four months since I've actually made a page. And I've got the wares but no goods to show for it. So last week I churned some creative butter and managed to complete two pages - yay! The first one, "This Boy" is a re-make of an old blog entry and as you can see I am into stitching everything now:
And this one is a celebration of Joel's first year, with pictures taken of him from the first month through to the twelfth month. There is hidden journalling (a personal letter to him under the section in the middle):
And this is the last page (a two-page layout) about who our community is made up of made before the long break from scrapping:
In the name of accomplishing more in less time as possible I've resolved to create layouts that are more "lightweight" - making use of less add-on embellishments such as eyelets, ribbon, cutting and pasting etc, although I do think that makes up a huge part of the fun! Thanks for looking.
