Me, a teacher?
Fri, 05 May

Thaks everyone for your comments in the previous post. All is well now, thank you! Just thinking about whether I should get him to wear a leash. Or a pair of those shoes that squeak whenever you walk. LOL!

Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day for all scrapbookers - it's International Scrapbooking Day!

Now, I know if you're not as scrapbook-obsessed as some of us out there, you're probably thinking you've never heard of of such a "day". Is it a holiday? Nope. Is it a day where scrapbookers all over the world unite for some furious hardcore scrapping? You bet!

Just check into any scrapbooking website and you'll find them all aplomb with contests, online crops, celebrity appearances and more. 2Peas' program is pretty out-of-this-world chock-full of yummy goodness, check it out.

On the local front, tomorrow is polling day, but that's not going to stop a bunch of furious scrappers, no way! Some are conducting free make-n-takes, while others are giving free classes and cooking up some fun, fun cropping challenges. I will be one of the instructors at the TSL crop, and I'll be teaching about how to alter a cheeseboard to create a gift for Mother's Day. Ok, this is going to be my first time teaching a craft class, so I'm a little scrared. No idea how it's gonna turn out, but I just hope eveyrone has fun! And don't you ALWAYS have fun when you're scrapbooking :-)

I had some new supplies arrive in the mail today, so I got down to playing with them! Here's a sample I'll be bringing to class tomorrow.
