No more cycling complex for me
Tue, 16 Jan

I can actually ride a bike now. Surprise, surprise! I was able to do so by the second day - which is actually a good thing because it was getting weird having to put up a brave front for passers-by who look at me with that mixture of amusement and confusionm, which happens when you try to learn something at 28 that you were supposed to have accomplished when you were five.

I have to say that I really love cycling. Maybe it's the novelty of learning something new, and the feeling of freedom and speed. Not that you can go very fast on this bike. It has no gears, it's rather heavy, plus it's been said I look like Mary Poppins on it. Very excited to get out onto the road and ride to some scenic places!

I am REALLY enjoying photography, or rather, taking photos a great deal, especially with the manual camera. Candids and portraits are my favourite shots to capture. A couple of new photos:

Plus, a couple of recent layouts. Black and red - two of my favourites now.

One reason why everything about this kit is so right up my alley!
