Ok, so you usually expect the kids to ask sort of question, but it's in these last 2 days that I've been feeling that tinge of impatience myself. It did feel as though the baby could have come a few days or even a week earlier, but nothing has happened so far. Nothing. Not a sign of J3. You know how it's like you've been mentally preparing for a HUGE transition in your life - a wedding, a big move, a new job - you're anticipating all the the work it's going to involve and envisioning in your mind how you'll handle the different aspects of change all at once. You're eager and prepared, all set to go full-steam ahead.

The one thing different with awaiting the arrival of a baby is the uncertainty - will it be today, or tomorrow? Or not?

J1 and J2 (with their limited understanding of time) have been enjoying their twosome status, of course, with intermittent reminders that soon, they will be two + one. I really like how they're taking it all in with a great deal of enthusiasm - they have both given their word that they will share their toys and books with J3, and J1's been displaying this remarkable concern and care for the baby. Very endearing.

Well, it won't be that long before we find ourselves in a slightly different kind of reality - Monday will be as long as we will wait for J3 to spontaneously make his way into the outside world. If not, an induction will be necessary, although we're hoping otherwise!

These have been printed onto beautiful cardstock that gives the impression and texture of fabric, and the inside pages are printed onto luxurious conqueror laid paper. Pretty! The orange one is discounted because I didn't score the creases in the cover as precisely as I would have wanted it. It's a slight imperfection, but then I like to make my things as close to perfect as possible.

haha, didn't actually finish my posting...not very good with my new laptop :P
